The founding members of the performance art platform Diasporas Now (founding director Rieko Whitfield and co-founders Paola Estrella and Lulu Wang) spoke on self-representation, solidarity, and the diasporic condition – exploring contemporaneous discourses drawing from a diversity of personal experiences and historical trajectories.

In this lecture, Diasporas Now shared practical strategies for collective practices, alternative approaches to performance art, and strategies of navigating art institutions as people of colour.
